Our Science Editor Discusses Recent
Technological Advances
We
recently met with our science editor, Vince Hawking (an actual cousin of
Stephen Hawking), and were able to speak with him at length about modern
technology and the role it plays in our lives. Mr. Hawking took time out
of his busy schedule, as he is currently preparing a presentation for a
major scientific conference at the annual Landover Baptist Church
Technology and Christianity Revival. Mr. Hawking will be the featured
speaker and has been asked to share his perception of modern technology
and its influence on our day-to-day lives. What follows are excerpts
from our conversation.
Rick - What will be the main
thrust of your presentation at this upcoming event?
Hawking - The world needs to know that
technology is basically evil.
Rick - All technology is evil?
Hawking - Yes. computer chips, ipods, digital
cameras, transistors, cell phones, calculators, even bar codes.
Rick - Bar codes?
Hawking - Absolutely, Rick. We have proof that the
bar code is the mark of the beast.
Rick - So are you saying that the science being studied and implemented
in today's technology should be curtailed?
Hawking - We here at the Science Center know that
many worthless freaks believe science is fact, while the Bible is not. I
find that pathetic, since the only people who seem to come up with the
'proof' that science is fact are the scientists themselves. Think about
it. We believe in factual faith, where as they believe in what I like to
call 'science fiction'.
Rick - What exactly have your studies led you to believe?
Hawking - I'll tell you this much, Rick, genetics,
dinosaurs, men on the moon, all crap. It's already a well-known fact
that all the moon landings were faked. Man has never set foot into
space, and I would be willing to bet that nothing else has either. All
the pictures from so-called satellites - FAKE - pictures from the
Hubbell telescope - FAKE.
Rick - And genetics ...
Hawking - Oh, we have all seen the pictures of a
cloned sheep. Like all sheep don't look identical. Prove to me it was
cloned.
Rick - Let me get this straight. In your opinion, satellites don't orbit
the earth?
Hawking - Prove to me the earth is round, not
flat. Just prove it - and not with so-called 'scientific' evidence or
'genuine' pictures from outer space. We know the earth is flat, and God
lets people 'flip' to the other side safely. Just read your Bible -
Isaiah 40:22 states clearly that the earth is a flat circle, not a
sphere. We have known this for hundreds of years.
Rick - We regularly see airplanes circling the globe, Vince.
Hawking - Another example of the evils of
technology. If God had intended man to fly he would have given him
wings. An abomination of science. Man has been trying to fly for
centuries - they call this witchcraft. Airplanes are clearly the work of
the Devil, and hated by God. It is sorcery that powers these machines.
Anyone who flies in a plane will burn in hell. Praise Jesus!
Rick - It sounds like you feel that science and technology have had a
decidedly detrimental effect on mankind.
Hawking - Science is leading our children into a
cesspool. It's science that brought us television and movies to warp our
children's minds with pornography, science that has created a veritable
bazaar of abortion to feed the Godless' appetite for stem cells, and
science that is trying to do God's work by cloning people. Therefore
science is evil.
Rick - But isn't science a necessary part of life today?
Hawking - This nation can't live without science,
doubters will say. But we can. Why wouldn't it be possible to outsource
all of our science jobs to India and China? They are heathens and will
always be heathens, so let them be tempted by the sin that will surely
follow. Instead of biotechnology and computer science, we can focus on
how Jesus loves everything.
Rick - Thank you for your time, Mr. Hawking, I'm sure that will be a
very interesting conference.
Hawking - We always appreciate the opportunity to
share with your readers our findings here at the Science Center, and I
am privileged to serve as your Science Editor.
