WHO ARE WE GOING TO BAIL OUT NEXT?

I'm madder than Nadya Suleman at a Planned Parenthood rally when I continually hear about all the federal tax dollars being laid out in the name of saving our economy! What are we up to - somewhere between 1 and 2 trillion dollars?!? Does anybody even know where this money is going?

Last week, Congress voted to pass this ridiculous economic stimulus package, without even reading it! That's right - Obama claimed it had to be passed right now! Then he went on vacation. I'm sure it was a well-earned vacation, seeing that he's been hard at work in his new job for nearly one month now!

Back when this great country was founded our leaders put in place mechanisms that addressed this precise issue! It's in the constitution! They eliminated debtors' prisons! There you go! That's all the help you get! Bankruptcy is also available to all of the sorry sad sacks who forgot what they were doing. Some cities in California have already filed for bankruptcy. That's right - whole cities!

I guess we can just eliminate most of the bankruptcy laws now that we have decided it is better to bail folks out. Let me state for the record that this is NOT a great recession. Back in the 30's, we had 25% unemployment. Government programs were needed just to supply jobs.

For those of you who don't read, people who are now out of work need to get jobs wherever they are! Work at something you are over-qualified for temporarily. Quit using credit for everything!

If you lose your home, move out! That is not the end of the world! Most other countries have huge classes of people that don't even consider buying homes. If you can buy one, fine. If not, I'm sure as hell not going to buy one for you!

Let's stop bailing folks out and start making more fiscally-responsible decisions!
